About Us

We thought that it's about time we put a little bit about who we are so here goes.

Who are the Planet Pot family?

Here at Planet Pot we pride ourselves in being a truly family business.  We are Jon and Kate Jones, and we are aided and abetted by our two daughters, Eleanor and Holly, who like to try out the pot painting for us! 

We opened our fab ceramic café, Planet Pot on Hangingwater Road, Nethergreen, in January 2007; just 13 days before the birth of Holly.  You could definitely say she was born into the business!  As if that wasn’t enough, we also moved house to live in the lovely community of Nethergreen two week’s later…..a busy year.  Since then, we have continued to build community links and worked with many great and diverse groups of people, as well as meeting some wonderful customers.

Jon is a budding artist, who likes to mix business with pleasure.  Kate is often found penning the next best-seller (she wishes), and taking as many courses as she can fit in around everything else.  Eleanor is never seen without a book or drawing pencil, and loves to come up with ideas and Holly likes to paint anything she can get her hands on!

Above all else, the whole Jones family are positively potty about pots.  We hope you will be too!
