Schools
Over the past four years we have worked with a number of schools painting with children. Children get to learn a little about art and get to hands on art and create something that they will always have to treasure.
Some Ideas
This is Starry Night by Van Gogh. We painted on tiles with a local school. The outline picture is provided on the tile but we talked to children about who they knew and liked and then they painted the tiles in their style. The children had great ideas from Lauren Child through to Andy Warhol and took us the full afternoon. It was ace fun.
These are what the tiles looked like. We took them all away to glaze and fire and then brought them back, tissue wrapped and named for the children to open.
The cost for this was just £3 per tile which included everything from start to finish.
